The mass storage is a professional infrastructure of very large capacity (1.5 petabytes) provided by the GIGA for the storage of scientific data. It is managed by the UDI GIGA-MED (see contact details below).
Before you use the mass storage for the first time, you should read the full documentation. This documentation will give you important information about the structure of the mass storage, how files are backed-up and archived, the quotas limiting the disk space available to each user, the best practices in term of data management, as well as some tips to reduce your disk space usage.
