The purpose of these wiki pages is to describe the possibilities offered to the user to store their data.

# Where shall I store my data ?

Depending of the type of data to store, there are two options:

- the mass storage server is used to store large data (e.g. genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic data, imaging data, and results of the analysis of these data).

|
|
- DoX is used to backup important files and folders from your work computer (maximum 100Gb in total), to synchronise these files between different computers or to share them with other members of the University.

DoX is a project implemented by the SEGI in order to create an internal file storage for university members. It offers the same functionalities as Dropbox or Google drive but the data are stored in the Datacenters of the University that are secured and certified (ISO27001)
|

Office365's OneDrive is a system for storing, sharing and synchronizing your documents in Microsoft Cloud - with a capacity of 1 TB per user (1 TB = 1000 GB). Data are hosted in Europe, in one of Microsoft's certified and GDPR compliant data centers.
