## Mass storage/Cluster

For questions regarding the mass storage or the cluster, and more specifically to
- ask for the creation of a new team and/or project folder
- ask for the creation of a PLATFORMS, ARCHIVES or SHARE folder
- ask to add a new member to a team or remove somebody who stopped working on a project
- request a [previous backed-up version](mass-storage/mass-storage-backup-archive) of a file (not always possible)
- ask any question about [quotas](mass-storage/mass-storage-quota) or request more data storage space

**NB**:
It is also **mandatory** to contact the UDI GIGA-MED IT specialist before
- connecting to the mass storage any instrument that will produce large amount of data,
- running any analysis that will generate a large number of small files that can’t be encapsulated in an archive
- copying or downloading 1Tb of data or more.

If you need help/advices to use the cluster, manage your data or analyse them, and more specifically if
- you need help using the terminal, slurm, singularity, conda, git or standard bioinformatics tools
- you need help sending data to our offline archiving system or copying/moving files on/from/to the mass storage
- you would like us to install some bioinformatic tools in a centralised fashion
- you have any question or feedback about this wiki
