Output format

The present output format is a (very large) Matlab file just dropped wherever the code is run. This file is then executed by the post-processing Matlab script drawwing which will show the results. @rboman suggested supporting additional formats, especially in the VTK family, so that anyone will be able to use the output files. Choosing the old behaviour should also be possible.
